
Rob Lewis, CEO, NORA
Rob joins NORA with over 28 years of experience in general management roles in the transportation industry. He has held senior positions in the business aviation sector at Part 135 Aircraft Operators, private jet charter providers, business jet and helicopter pilot training providers and jet fuel transportation and ground logistics providers.
Specifically, his previous roles include:
• Pentastar Aviation, CEO (a Part 135 Operator, air ambulance services, aircraft management
and maintenance provider and small chain of FBO’s)
• SVP Supply at Sentient Jet (oversaw relations and contracting with 3rd party Part 135 Operators for the company’s fifty dedicated aircraft as well as spot market aircraft)
• Erickson Inc, VP & GM Aircrane Division (aircraft operator providing firefighting and medical/casualty evacuation services)
• EPIC Fuels, VP Sales & Marketing (provider of aviation fuels and ground transportation logistics)
• Management Consultant, Deloitte Consulting (in their Transportation Practice)
• US Navy, Submarine Officer (USS Alaska)
Rob received his MBA from Columbia University and a BS in Physics from the United States Naval Academy. He is an Instrument-rated Private Pilot with 1,200 flight hours and a previous aircraft owner. Rob currently lives in Fort Worth, Texas and will be relocating to St. Charles, Illinois where NORA’s headquarters are located.
He and his wife have two adult children: one who just got out of the Army and is attending The University of Texas- Dallas getting his MBA, and one who just got out of the Air Force and is attending trade school getting his A&P (aircraft mechanic) license. His hobbies include running, learning Italian, and attending country music concerts.
